Why Being Mentally Prepared to Write is Key to Your Success as an Author
One of the biggest lessons I learned watching my father, a tall 6’6″, lean deep brown man with a smile that could light up the world, is that not everyone is going to like you. You can be caring, giving, selfless (mostly anyway) and still not everyone is going to like you.
So one of the things I need you to realize when you become an author is that NOT EVERYONE WILL SUPPORT YOU!
Some of your friends and even your family may not get your desire to write a book and may try to bring you down. Some people will come across your book and not like it. Some others may say your book totally sucks.
Don’t worry about them and just keep on moving!
Being an author is like being an athlete, you have to put your best foot forward and keep it moving.
Here are 4 easy things I want you to remember as you begin the journey.
